Jesus is Present at Communion
Jesus is Present at Communion
We learned about the Eucharist and how when the host is consecrated it becomes the body of Jesus. We made our own chalices and decorated them with glitter paints and gems. Then we cut out the host and when it flips up a picture of Jesus is visible. It was a lot of fun to learn about Eucharist and also create our own chalice. -2LC FoodiesCivil War Presenter
Civil War Presentation
We were lucky to have a friend of the class come in and give a presentation of the civil war! We learned so much about Jefferson Davis, why the north was fighting the south and how hard life was like for the cavalry. We even learned what the people ate while fighting and how their days were spent. -2LC foodiesFriday, May 9, 2014
