Our Crazy Presidents

Our Crazy President Reports

We made crazy presidents at centers today. We had to write a whole speech and then we had to go and make the pictures of the presidents with oil pastels. We had to go on the ipad and go to funny movie maker and have our president say the speech. We had to cut out their mouth and record our voice saying the speech See the imovie we made of it below. -Smarties and Gum

We worked on a project about Presidents.

Cursive Monsters

We wrote our names in cursive and went to the windows to trace the other side. Then we colored and put3 - D stuff on them. It was awesome!  -Brownie

Leprechauns in a jar

We colored the picture of the jar and you put the leprechaun in the jar. We wrote about how to catch a leprechaun.
-Gumball

Measurement Fun!

We are measuring things with our shoes. We had to write our name on our paper and then go around the classroom and look for things to measure and they had to be shorter, same size and longer than our shoes. -Cookies and Cream

Snowman Writing

We wrote for days! We created a five paragraph sequence story on how to build a snowman. The writing was very hard to do. The writing also took a long time. The snowman kind of looked like a keyhole. The snowman had a nose sticking up in the air because they were facing up. You could add lots of details into your snowman. We wrote five paragraphs!

-Jolly Rancher & Marshmallow

Flat Stanley Project
There is a book we read about Flat Stanley. We are sending pictures of Flat Stanley across the country and people will take pictures of him with famous things.  Sometimes people send things back from the states, like a huge candy bar from Hershey, Pennsylvania! I am bringing it to Nevada because my friends live there and the Jelly Bean and Coca Cola Factory are there! My favorite part about Flat Stanley is maybe they might send candy back!
-Risotto and Wild and Reckless Ice Cream

The Life Story of Saint Valentine

It was very fun making a book about St. Valentine's life.  His life was very interesting. I thought Saint Valentine was very nice. My favorite part was when we got the strips and we found out what we had to draw. I had to draw the Emperor who was mean to Valentine. I had to draw the strip when he made the prison guard's daughter become unblind. -Grape and Pizza

Measurement People

For our unit on measurement we had to measure ourselves! Then we created pictures of what we look like and the measurments to the pictures! Check these out...

Educreations Measurement Time!

We are starting our unit on measurement. We were given a certain number of inches to measure. We had to walk around the classroom and find three objects that were that length. After we did that, we had to take the picture of the objects and write about our findings. Here are some examples of our recording on educreations.

Saints Pictures

In November we performed a play on the lives of the saints. Now we are creating an iphoto book where we illustrate a picture of our saint, write a story about him/her and pair it with our own photo from the day of the play. Here is an example of the illustrations from the book.

Valentine Bags

We made these bags in our class today for our party on Friday! The valentines go through the mouth!
We had a lot of fun making them personalized to our unique personalities!

Mend  Broken Heart Math

It was a heart that you had to put a real band-aid on and you had to color it and you had to do a lot of math problems. We had to use a ruler to do the lines in sharpie and so it would make it seem like we were sewing the heart together. -Grape and Pizza

Conversation Heart Writing

It was a fun Valentine's Day writing. First, we had to do our sloppy copy and put down our hearts with it. Then, we had to do a real copy and it had to be our best handwriting. Next, we had to glue down the glasses and make a face and if we wanted to we could put a bow tie for the boys. -Pizza and Grape
